Grow for Good Strategies is a boutique consulting firm with the mission of helping social impact companies and organizations successfully scale. Partners Michelle Stephenson and Mike Liddell offer decades of experience as operators, and practitioners, in the social impact space. Our shared values and complementary backgrounds offer double-bottom-line companies deep expertise in how to successfully grow a social good enterprise.

  • Founding Partner

    Michelle has spent her career helping founders and organizations build with a purpose. She brings 15+ years of experience and a quantifiable track record of growing and scaling companies in the social impact sector.

    Prior to co-founding Grow for Good Strategies, Michelle served as the Chief Revenue Officer for EveryAction and NGP VAN. Over her decade-long tenure, she helped grow the company from $6M to $40M+ in revenue; oversaw a 750%+ headcount growth across the sales and marketing departments; led the 2014 GTM strategy, launch, and execution of the EveryAction product and brand into the nonprofit sector; and helped lead a successful 2018 acquisition by Insight Partners.

    Michelle's early career began at a climate-focused nonprofit in her home state of Michigan and eventually took her to the nation’s capital where she worked for EMILY's List. Throughout her career, she has developed a vast network across the political, nonprofit, tech, and government spaces which she leverages to unlock opportunities on behalf of clients.

    Michelle serves on the finance committee of Wonders Early Learning and lives In Chevy Chase with her husband, Joe, and daughters Liv and Lucia.

    Rohita Javangula offers Grow for Good clients her deep expertise in demand generation marketing for social impact businesses. Rohita previously served as ActBlue’s Brand Marketing Director, where she grew ActBlue’s brand presence through new media, in-person activations, and strategic partnerships. Before ActBlue, Rohita was the VP of Marketing for DSPolitical where she built a multichannel marketing strategy to drive product growth and generate inbound leads. 

    Grow for Good Strategies partners Michelle Stephenson and Mike Liddell both previously worked with Rohita at EveryAction (now Bonterra), where Rohita was a leader in scaling EveryAction’s SaaS product marketing. At EveryAction, Rohita developed strategic plans and led marketing campaigns for key product launches. 

    Rohita also has a deep background working with nonprofits directly, previously working at the Global Shea Alliance, Amnesty International USA, IREX, and Thrive DC.

  • Founding Partner

    Mike has over two decades of experience at the intersection of technology and social impact. Mike previously ran EveryAction and NGP VAN’s Digital business line, which he grew to over 50% of the combined company’s revenue, leading to acquisitions by Insight Partners and then Apax. As General Manager of Digital, Mike oversaw EveryAction’s award-winning digital marketing products, services, and payments functionality.

    Before joining NGP VAN in 2011, Mike led digital for the Treasury Department in the Obama Administration for two years and led online communications for the Democratic Senate Campaign Committee for four years. He also worked at CTSG as a Project Manager, serving nonprofits like the Alzheimer’s Association, Community Foundations of America, and Hillel International.

    Mike has worked for numerous nonprofits and campaigns and is a proud University of Texas Longhorn. Mike serves on the Creative Minds Board of Trustees and lives in Berkeley, CA with his wife, Lizzie, and daughters Paloma and Cecilia.

    Rebecca joins Grow for Good Strategies with over a decade of leadership experience in client services and organizational management. She has spent her career helping technology companies navigate complex growth challenges.

    At NGP VAN and Bonterra, she led client services teams through significant organizational transitions, including a major four-company merger, while establishing and maintaining KPIs for Client Support, Customer Success, and Account Management while driving strategic initiatives across political and nonprofit sectors. Her work spanned from helping launch new products like EveryAction to advising executive leadership on critical business decisions for Customer Support and Account Management during periods of transformation.

    Rebecca earned her MBA from Duke's Fuqua School of Business, where she dove deep into how organizations actually make change happen—not just plan for it. She helps clients figure out how to get their teams, systems, and goals working together, especially when bringing on new customers or supporting existing ones. She's passionate about making organizations run more smoothly and building things that last, particularly for clients doing work that matters.
